About Us
We are a Baptist Church, but we are more interested in people having a relationship with Christ than we are in people being Baptist.
Our primary reason for being Baptist is that we believe the way the Southern Baptist Convention manages mission work shows evidence of good stewardship. Our second reason is that we have the prerogative to be autonomous as a local church. We cooperate with the local Baptist Association, the State Baptist Association, as well as the cooperative program of the Southern Baptist Convention. Our church has embraced the simple strategy of "Show up, live the word, and love the people" based on Mark Chapter 12 and Matthew Chapter 28.
